Emre comes from Safranbolu, and as a filmmaker who grew up with a deep passion for cinema, he has shaped his life through the love of film, which his mother gifted him as the greatest present. In 2002, when his mother took him to the cinema for the first time as a birthday gift to watch "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," it marked Emre’s entry into the enchanting world of cinema. This film expanded his imagination and ignited his dream of one day making his own movies.

His first encounter with a camera was at the age of nine when a relative lent him a photo camera. That moment laid the foundation for Emre’s future career. In 2014, he moved to Bern, Switzerland, where he received education in cinematography, videography, editing, photography, and post-production. In 2015, he purchased his first camera, a Nikon D7100, and throughout this time, he developed both his technical and artistic skills. Over time, he upgraded his equipment to higher-end models, and today, he works with a Sony A7 IV, while also operating as a drone pilot.

When he returned to Turkey in 2018, Emre began taking professional steps in the field of cinematography. By 2022, he had started working on cinematography projects for local businesses, quickly rising in his career. He began working as an assistant director on sets in Istanbul, and at the same time, he expanded his portfolio by collaborating with famous DJs. He served as a cinematographer at various festivals, and by 2024a, he had become a recognized name through his documentary and festival videos.

Emre aims to take on larger projects and realize his dream of working in Hollywood. For him, directing is not just about bringing together images; it is about capturing the atmosphere, energy, and emotions of the environment and translating them into the frame, which he considers his greatest achievement.
